Watch Out for Rare Error £2 Coins

Some £2 coins are worth hundreds due to minting errors. Look out for "Mules" where the wrong obverse or reverse was used, or edge lettering errors.

One famous example is the 2014 Lord Kitchener £2 where a small number were struck without the "TWO POUNDS" inscription on the heads side.

Always check the edge of your coin! Misspelled inscriptions or upside-down text (relative to the Queen's/King's head) are common collector interests.
